Job Overview
**Fairview** is seeking a Medical Director for our **Otolaryngology group.** The Medical Director provides employment home-related leadership for the employed physicians and Advanced Practice Providers frontline staff in an assigned practice for the Fairview Health Medical Group. Serves as the primary link between the Medical Group President, the Fairview employment home, and employed providers, and is actively engaged and visibly present across the medical group.
FTE is 0.1 for leadership.
Responsibilities
+ Oversight of providers with the identified providers in the Fairview employment home only
+ Compensation inquiries
+ Annual performance reviews
+ Human Resources, Disciplinary actions, etc.
+ Routine 1:1 Check In’s with direct reports
+ Partners and presents concerns to Service Line Medical Director and Operations Director when providers express concern with any of the areas listed in the Service Line Medical Director role
+ Participate in Fairview provider recruitment as applicable
+ Other items as applicable
Required Qualifications
+ Graduate of an accredited ACGME Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency training program. Additional fellowship training is welcomed
+ Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties
+ Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
+ Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
+ Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
+ 5 years Minimum of 5 of experience in clinical practice that demonstrates success in quality, clinical variation, practice management, and patient experience
+ Administrative and/or managerial experience
Preferred Qualifications
+ Masters in Business Admin, Healthcare Admin or Medical Management (MMM)
+ Leadership of Service Line or Organizational Committee

Compensation Disclaimer
The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
