The Manager of Quality leads facility-wide quality improvement efforts and ensures ongoing compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead Quality Programs
+ Design, implement, and oversee quality initiatives aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Drive Performance Improvement
+ Collaborate with department leaders to identify performance gaps and implement sustainable, evidence-based solutions.
Monitor and Report Metrics
+ Analyze quality data to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and present actionable insights to leadership.
Ensure Survey Readiness
+ Maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory bodies (e.g., The Joint Commission, state requirements) through audits and continuous monitoring.
Educate and Empower Staff
+ Provide training and resources to promote adherence to quality standards and foster a culture of excellence.
Maintain Quality Documentation
+ Ensure quality-related documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Support Collaborative Efforts
+ Serve on cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
Other Duties
+ Perform additional responsibilities as assigned; uphold organizational policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Education
+ _Required:_ Associate Degree in Nursing
+ _Preferred:_ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Quality, or related field
Licensure & Certifications
+ _Required:_ Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
+ _Preferred:_ Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
Experience
+ 3–5 years in quality management, regulatory compliance, or related healthcare field (required)
+ Direct experience supporting TJC or state surveys (required)
+ 2–4 years in data analysis (preferred)
+ Prior supervisory or management experience (preferred)
