**Rate of Pay:** $187,958.52 to $217,400.00 per Year
**Duties:** Perform program and project management, design, and construction management of one larger project or multiple smaller projects in the following areas: rail/transit stations/facilities, systems, systems integration, bus rapid transit and APM projects. Lead design services during construction. Lead integration of disciplines and stakeholders to facilitate project delivery. Manage scope, cost, schedule, risk and deliverables for rail and bus systems projects. Lead and build a team of designers, construction managers, and key personnel in managing projects. Establish project schedule and budget and monitor progress in meeting schedule and budget requirements. May telecommute.
**Requirements:** Employer will accept a Bachelor’s’ degree in Engineering and Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification required.
Position requires:
1. Managing large-scale transportation and heavy rail and commuter rail projects ($500M and larger) from inception to completion, performing design management, construction management, and design services during construction for various types of delivery methods including design-build projects and Design Bid Build projects
2. Utilizing P6 software to manage complex construction timelines and track project progress across multiple disciplines.
3. Estimating costs and managing project budgets for large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to financial goals and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Managing contractor payments after evaluation of pay estimates for large scale federally funded projects.
4. Reviewing, negotiating and managing large scale contracts, ensuring compliance with contract documents and evaluating and mitigating risks using risk registers
5. Managing Civil System Integration for large infrastructure projects utilizing data from Building Information Modeling (BIM).
6. Examining construction contract documents including Drawings, Specifications and General Conditions, and enforcing them during various phases of execution including design, construction and post-construction.
7. Implementing quality control and safety oversight for aviation, rail and transit projects.
8. Leading of a team of construction management professionals.
