Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
Xylem is looking for a Senior Field Service Technician to report to our Shakopee, MN branch and service our equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area. (** **HVAC Technicians, Electricians, Plumbers, Tradespeople and construction workers are encouraged to apply!)
What your day will look like as a Senior Field Service Technician
The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, within our Light Industries Division. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous** **technical/mechanical/plumbing** **experience is especially encouraged.
This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.
Position Requirements:
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
HS diploma or equivalent
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
Ability to work in a high customer facing position
Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Mostly local travel - with possible overnight travel up to 20%.

The estimated salary range for this position is around $32/hour based on experience. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills and experience.
