Required Skills:

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Full stack web/mobile application development with a variety of coding languages.

2. Create consumer products and features using internal programming language Hack.

3. Implement web or mobile interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

4. Work closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native.

5. Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services.

6. Build report interfaces and data feeds.

7. Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance.

8. Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area and/or systems.

9. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field and 24 months in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:

10. 1. Coding in at least one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, or C#

11. 2. Creating web applications using at least one of the following: Python, PHP, or Ruby

12. 3. Relational databases and SQL

13. 4. Leveraging frameworks, including experience in at least one of the following: React or React Native

14. 5. Object-oriented software development

15. 6. Coding in Java

16. 7. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)

17. 8. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS including file manipulation and simple commands

18. 9. Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

19. 10. Algorithms

20. 11. One of the following programming languages: Objective-C, Swift, C, C++

21. 12. File systems, server architectures, and distributed systems

22. 13. Machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, or artificial intelligence.

$223,379/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
