    + **Location:** Tampa, FL

    + **Status:** Full Time

    + **Exempt:** No

    + **Shift Hours:** 8:00PM-4:30AM

    + **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    + **On Call:** No

    Responsibilities:

    + Performs all diagnostic testing and quality controls

    + Prepares reagents

    + Reports results according to established policies and procedures

    + Performs moderate to high complexity testing

    + Uses cand maintains computer applications appropriate to the position

    + Maintains equipment and supplies

    + Assists with training and orientation of testing personnel

    + Evaluates competencies

    + Works independently and in a team

    + Demonstrates organizational, time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills

    + Uses and understands medical terminology

    + Must have customer service and interpersonal skills

    + Administrative and clerical skills

    + Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Certification & Licensure:

    + Required - State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

    + Preferred - ASCP certified

    Education:

    + Required - Associate’s

    + Preferred - Bachelor’s

    Experience:

    + Required - 2 years laboratory related
