    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant for a 6-month contract opportunity with a local firm. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a marketing team and strong proficiency in creating long-form documents using Adobe InDesign.

     

    Title: Marketing Assistant

     

    Contract Type and Duration: Contract only for now, about 6 months

     

    Opportunity for Extension: yes

     

    Schedule/Hours: 20-24 hours per week across 3 set days (between Monday-Thursday)

     

    Pay: $27-35/hour

     

    Onboarding Requirements: Background Check

     

    Target Start Date: ASAP

     

    Software Requirements: Adobe InDesign

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and design marketing materials, including proposals, presentations, brochures, and other long-form documents, using Adobe InDesign and related tools.

    • Collaborate with team members to gather project information and ensure accurate entry into databases.

    • Support the marketing team in crafting visually engaging collateral that aligns with brand standards and appeals to potential clients.

    • Assist with creating and refining content for proposal decks and RFP documents.

    • Partner with specialists to ensure all marketing deliverables meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

    • Provide graphic design expertise to enhance the overall quality and creativity of marketing campaigns.

    • Contribute to various marketing-related tasks and projects as needed, ensuring the team’s goals are met.

    • Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout all stages of document production and design.

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (experience with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications is preferred).

    • Strong understanding of graphic design principles and experience creating long-form content such as proposal decks, presentations, and multi-page brochures.

    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

    • Familiarity with CRM systems and database management.

    • Experience developing proposals and RFP documents.

    • A keen eye for detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.

    • At least 2 years of relevant experience in marketing or graphic design.
