    Great Place Constructionis a private construction firm that specializes in commercial construction. We are seeking an Estimator to join our team to calculate, compile and prepare estimates as part of the pre-construction team.     DUTIES:

    + Generate project estimates.

    + Complete quantity takeoffs.

    + Solicit specialty contractors to obtain estimates.

    + Maintain specialty contractor database to insure current information and inclusion of new potential bidders.

    + Assist in preparation of request for proposal documents.

    + Support management team in maintain and updating estimating software/database.

    + Coordinate bid document sharing with all process stakeholders.

    + Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team around you.

    + Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful outcome.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    + Excellent communication skills

    + Excellent attention to detail.

    + Bachelor’s degree or working toward a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering or equivalent experience.

    + Minimum 3 years of related experience

    + Familiarity with commercial estimating techniques and software: On-Screen Take off, Bluebeam, ISqFT, etc.

    + Valid DL and good driving record
