Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, .NET C#, and Azure custom development. This role is critical for leading the design and delivery of complex, enterprise-grade business solutions, integrating multiple Microsoft technologies including custom plugins, custom actions, Azure Functions, and Dataverse extensions.
Responsibilities
+ Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
+ Develop and manage custom plugins, custom workflow activities, and custom actions to extend Dynamics 365 functionality using C# and the Dynamics SDK.
+ Design and implement Azure-based custom services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus, to integrate Dynamics 365 with external systems.
+ Build scalable solutions using Dataverse, Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), and Power Automate.
+ Guide and support the development team in implementing custom UI components, PCF controls, and JavaScript-based enhancements within model-driven apps.
+ Architect and implement RESTful APIs and web services for third-party integrations with Dynamics CRM.
+ Establish and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, version control (using Azure DevOps or Git), and ALM practices.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and architects to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals.
+ Provide hands-on leadership, mentoring, code reviews, and performance tuning.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
+ 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Customer Engagement).
+ Strong expertise in .NET (C#) and Dynamics 365 plugin and custom action development.
+ Extensive hands-on experience with Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI.
+ Deep knowledge of Dataverse, solution layers, entity relationships, and business rules.
+ Proven experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Key Vault in custom application development.
+ Experience developing and deploying custom connectors and working with APIs (REST/SOAP).
+ Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, FetchXML, Liquid Templates, and PCF controls
+ Solid understanding of CRM security roles, business units, and user/team-based access control.
+ Proficiency with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps Boards, Repos, Pipelines).
+ Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Microsoft certifications such as:
+ PL-400: Power Platform Developer
+ PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect
+ AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure
+ MB-600: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect
+ Experience with data migration tools (KingswaySoft, Scribe, etc.).
+ Experience integrating Dynamics CRM with SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services.
+ Knowledge of Power Platform ALM, including environment strategies and solution packaging.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until July 20th, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $79,240 - $133,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
