    VCA Cherry Bend Animal Hospital** is expanding its Patient Care Team and seeking a **Licensed** **Veterinary Technician** **!

     

    **Schedule:** Full-time opportunity.

    **Compensation:** Pay Range is $19 - $25/ hr and is based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials.

    Job Snapshot:

    The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

    + Laboratory/diagnosticduties.

    + Assist veterinarians insurgical procedures, includingprepping animals, monitoring anesthesia, and providing post-operative care.

    + Perform dental cleanings anddental radiographsunder the supervision of a veterinarian.

    + Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.

    + Monitor vital signs and provide compassionate care to animals throughout their stay in the surgery and dentistry department.

    + Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

    + Create detailed medical discharge instructions for clients.

    + Venipuncture and IV catheter placements

    + Physical examinations andpatient assessment.

    + Maintaining proper sterile conditions.

    + Diagnostic imaging.

    + Pharmacy.
