Job Title: Mechanical Assembler, $21-$24/HR, 3rd shift and Weekend Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Canton, OH. This role involves the assembly of semi-finished products into complete machine assemblies for conveyor systems. You will be working in a clean, safe, and climate-controlled environment with the 3rd shift (Monday-Thursday, 6:30pm-5am), or the Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday, 5am-5:30pm).

Responsibilities

+ Assemble mechanical components to complete conveyor system assemblies.

+ Incorporate various components, including nuts, bolts, couplings, and conveyors, into fabricated structures.

+ Utilize hand, measurement, and power tools to complete tasks.

+ Follow detailed work instructions and read blueprints.

+ Log notes and updates at the end of each shift for seamless transition to the next team.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency with hand, measurement, and power tools.

+ Ability to follow work instructions and read blueprints.

+ Mechanical aptitude and experience in assembly, machine building, or automotive mechanics.

+ 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or automotive mechanics.

+ Strong measurement skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with construction, troubleshooting, and mechanical assembly.

+ Knowledge of automotive body repair and conveyor maintenance.

+ Familiarity with fitting, fabrication, and power tools.

+ Electrical skills and computer skills are a plus.

+ Understanding of the metric measurement system is beneficial.

This is a position based out of Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.79 - $23.08/hr.
