Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Pleasanton, California. The successful candidate will be engaged in a multifaceted role within the property management industry. You will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, managing residential and commercial properties, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive and current financial records for residential and commercial properties

• Utilize property management software, such as AppFolio and Yardi, to effectively manage properties and financial data

• Process and monitor ACH payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Collaborate with external CPA for reporting and financial assessments

• Oversee the daily operations of properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with regulations

• Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and vendors, addressing concerns and inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner

• Coordinate maintenance and service requests efficiently, leveraging digital systems for optimal results

• Track and manage rent and other expenses, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and financial management

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficient in bookkeeping practices and principles

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Yardi and AppFolio property management software

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in property management field is a plus

• Knowledge of property management accounting is desirable

• Experience in residential property management is beneficial

• Familiarity with commercial property management is advantageous
