    Description

    Associated Fire Protection is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

    General Description:Supports the company by performing project management of fire protection projects.

    Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

    + Prepare plans and specifications for new and existing work projects.

    + Plan job installations, including but not limited to reviewing engineering plans, securing permits for work, estimating and preparing quotes, performing material ordering, and managing delivery/manpower scheduling.

    + Coordinate project activities and resources, including team members, vendors, and contractors

    + Review the technical progress of projects and perform periodic field inspections to assure quality of work.

    + Maintain profitability of projects, including estimating the costs of projects and preparing proposals as needed.

    + Evaluate and assist customers with their technical fire protection needs.

    + Meet with customers, team members, technicians and other personnel in person, frequently on site.

    + Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project; Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed

    + Foster a collaborative and positive team environment

    + Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time

    + Assist with training the company’s technicians on projects.

    + Serve as an Emergency Service Manager, when needed.

    + Communicate effectively with customers as needed.

    + Communicate effectively and work effectively with coworkers.

    + Keep appointments and show up to work on time.

    + Attitude and actions are in line with company’s mission statement, vision and values.

    + Show initiative by sharing ideas that may increase company profitability and help the company reach its goals.

    Requirements

    + Employee will have access to considerable internal and external contacts, and the company’s confidential information.

    + Employee must display qualities and characteristics of a trustworthy employee, included, but not limited to, independent judgement and initiative.

    + Bachelor's degree in relevant field or certificate in project manager preferred.

    + 2-5 years of experience in construction related project management is required.

    + Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required.

    + Proficient in Microsoft office suite is required.

    + Proficiency in project management software and tools is required.

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines is required

    Salary Description

    80K-120K
