    Koniag Information Security Services,** a Koniag Government Services company **,** is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to support **KSS** and our government client in Alexandria, VA. **This is a Hybrid role.

    In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable platform solutions that empower development teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate is an expert in Kubernetes, Keycloak, and Gitlab with a passion for infrastructure automation, security, and developer experience.

    Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    + Design, implement, and maintain highly available and secure Kubernetes clusters

    + Manage identity and access control using Keycloak

    + Administer and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines and workflows to support software delivery

    + Collaborate closely with developers to ensure platform reliability and compliance

    + Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform

    + Expert understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible

    + Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues across infrastructure and application stack

    + Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform health and performance

    + Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed

    Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    + 5+ years of experience in a platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure role

    + Deep expertise in Azure Government

    + Deep expertise in Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, networking, etc)

    + Deep expertise in API solutions like Tyk or Apigee

    + Proven experience managing and extending GitLab for source control and Ci/CD

    + Proficiency with Linux-based systems and container technologies

    + Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash and Python

    + Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud-native environments

    + Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools

    + Knowledge of SAML and oAuth protocols

    + Currently possesses or has the ability to obtain required certifications within 2 months of employment: CompTIA Security+ Familiarity with Atlassian suite of tools

    + Ability to obtain AWS or Azure certifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in related field
