    Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Regulators Painter - 2nd shift.

     

    The hourly rate for this position is $21.75 per hour.

    What you’ll do:

    Job Summary

    Set up and/or operate/tend machines to paint tanks for Regulators.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform tasks in paint booth.

    • Prepare all surfaces to be sprayed, including bare metal areas, and wash and properly sand and feather edge previously painted surfaces.

    • Mix paint according to specified requirements and check paint logs to measure paint and hardener levels.

    • Apply paint to units manually, ensuring even coverage and adherence to quality standards, while verifying the Bills of Material for correct color and specified mil thickness.

    • Correct paint runs, spots, and chips by sanding down imperfections before repainting.

    • Adjust and periodically check all pump pressures, heater temperatures, air and fluid pressures to maintain the best possible spraying application condition.

    • Perform routine adjustments, cleaning, and maintenance on equipment and the paint booth, including changing filters and maintaining cleanliness of spray booth floor areas on a scheduled basis.

    • Flush equipment at every break to prevent paint from hardening in the line.

    • Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.

    • Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.

    • Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.

    • Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Education level required

    • No education required

    Years and area of experience required

    • Relevant work experienced preferred.

    • Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.

    Technical knowledge

    • Works from quality and production standards and computerized winding sheets/prints to interpret coil specifications accurately.

    • Perform basic mathematical functions as required.

    Physical Requirements

    • Lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials, with or without accommodations.
