Your role and responsibilities
Application Developer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% Telecommuting permitted)
* Design and develop applications with understanding and analyzing the requirements of the client and business.
* Design, develop and implement software applications that meet the client and business’s needs.
* Create and analyze business models, logical specifications, and user requirements to develop solutions for the application environment.
* Troubleshoot and debug to diagnose and fix application bugs.
* Perform execution of functional test plan, validate test results, and prepare documentation and data for analysis.
* Create an implementation plan, review with users, and deploy code in production.
* Utilize: Java Object-Oriented Programming, Spring Boot Framework, Microservices Architecture, ReactJS, SQL, Rest API, Data Structures and Algorithms.
Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Java Object-Oriented Programming, Spring Boot Framework, Microservices Architecture, ReactJS, SQL, Rest API, Data Structures and Algorithms. $179982 per year. Required technical and professional expertise
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related.
