    Introduction

     

    Your role and responsibilities

    Development Lead, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US:

    * Design and re-architecture legacy applications.

    * Participate in requirement gathering meetings and design phases.

    * Work with product owners, scrum master, system architects in requirement analysis and prototyping creation for new projects.

    * Create database scripts and running Proof of Concepts (POC).

    * Prepare Technical Design Specifications (TDS) following the contractual standards and include all application requirements using rational software architect.

    * Prepare the project schedule for tracking the progress and raising risks.

    * Prepare design for the data model in collaboration with data modeler using tool rational data modeler for the system.

    * Participate in design walkthrough and provide feedback on others design documentation.

    * Review system design, walkthrough, specification, and documentation.

    * Perform impact analysis, documenting the impacted components.

    * Ensure quality and document all minor enhancements/small development project.

    * Utilize at least 12 of the following 22 tools/skills: Java, SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, Oracle, MySQL Clustering, Web Services (Rest Based), JSON, XML, jQuery, JavaScript, Red Hat EAP Server, Open Stack, Tomcat, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate, Soap, Restful, IntelliJ Idea, and Eclipse.

     

    Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Management Information Systems or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Development Lead or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing at least 12 of the following 22 tools/skills: Java, SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, Oracle, MySQL Clustering, Web Services (Rest Based), JSON, XML, jQuery, JavaScript, Red Hat EAP Server, Open Stack, Tomcat, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate, Soap, Restful, IntelliJ Idea, and Eclipse. $179,982 to $194,900 per year. Full time. H5F.

    Required technical and professional expertise
