    What will you do as a Equipment Services Manager?

     

    As part of the Equipment Service Team, the Equipment Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective distribution, installation and/or maintenance of beverage equipment through the supervision of Equipment Services personnel. Equipment may include vending machines, coolers, restaurant fountain and coffee dispensing equipment. Additionally, the Equipment Service Manager will identify training needs, manage work flow, coach, counsel and direct Equipment Service employees in the Sales Center. When necessary for the Sales Center, the Fleet personnel and processes will be the responsibility of the Equipment Service Manager.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Schedule and monitor assigned workforce.

    + Monitor productivity and conduct audits of work performed to maintain quality.

    + Responsible for coaching, developing and encouraging excellence from a diverse team.

    + Promote high level of internal and external customer service and product quality.

    + Provide ongoing training for new and existing employees.

    + Ensure compliance with Company safety policies and procedures.

    + Interface with other departments and other companies.

    + Manage equipment service and fleet budget where applicable.

    + Oversees the day to day activities of the Equipment Service and fleet team.

    + Responsible for fleet maintenance and for ensuring all truck checks are completed in accordance with regulations when necessary.

    + Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning fleet, equipment removals, placement, and exchanges of CCNA calls, coolers, vendors, and fountain equipment.

    + Analyze statistical data and reports to identify areas for continuous improvement.

    + Coordinate parts and equipment needs for sales center.

    + Assist in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures.

    + Perform personnel functions, such as hiring, corrective action process, performance evaluations, coaching and counseling.

    + Work with leadership team to continuously foster a positive work environment, develop employee incentive programs and establish the organization as a premier employer.

    + Coordinate with the other managers in the sales center to ensure the sales center performs efficiently, effectively, and financially.

    + Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis.

    + Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle driving history that meets Company guidelines.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of department staff.

    + Coach and mentor staff in developing and achieving goals and objectives.

    + Provide regular performance feedback.

    + Include staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement.

    Requirements

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in management. College degree a plus.

    + Ability to deal with regulatory agencies, consultants and other contractor personnel is required.

    + Microsoft Office proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    + 1 to 3 years experience in an HVAC/refrigeration maintenance and repair environment helpful.

    + Stable history of steady work and/or school, verifiable by references.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    + Work in an office environment; sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods; may utilize a computer terminal for prolonged periods.

    + Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

    + Work involves walking, talking and hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus when using computer terminal.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    + The noise level in the work environment can be moderately noisy due to manufacturing and/or warehousing equipment in operation.

    + Must be willing to travel to other company locations approximately 20% and attend out-of-town training and/or seminars.

    + Strict adherence to Company and/or facility policies, rules, and regulations in these areas is required. A commitment to carrying out the Company's Quality Policy is required. An employee in this position must focus on customers’ expectations, prevent problems, and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and other employees.
