    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled API Migration Specialist to lead the full lifecycle migration of APIs from Apigee Hybrid to Apigee X. This role requires expertise in Apigee provisioning, environment configurations, and a solid understanding of GCP as it relates to Apigee X. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in API development, proxy configuration, shared flows, caching, and subscription management. Experience in migrating APIs between gateways and automating Apigee processes (including exporting/importing components such as proxies, products, and KVMs) is essential.

    **Location: Louisville - KY USA -** Work from Home- Hybrid.

    **Duration:** Full-time only

    Responsibilities

    + Lead the end-to-end migration of APIs from Apigee Hybrid to the APIGEE X platform

    + Experience on APigee Provisioning process and Apigee X configurations related to environments environment groups

    + high level knowledge GCP in relation to Apigee X setup

    + Good knowledge APIGEE API development process API proxies Sharedflows Caching Products and subscriptions

    + Experience in migration of API proxies from one API gateway to another

    + Experience in automation of Apigee related automations such as exporting/importing Apigee components like API proxies API products KVMs etc

    + Ability to develop migration solutions and approaches

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers' architect & business stakeholders to gather the requirement.

    + Performance tuning & optimization of APIs

    + Demonstrate capability to work from scratch without much oversight and take the application to Production (Develop integrate Deploy SIT/UAT testing support

    + Performance testing support Security vulnerability fixes and raise change requests for UAT Production)

    + Communication is the key, and resource should be fluent and clear in communication

    + Knowledge and working experience on Agile

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is between $129,000 to $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
