Your role at KIK
The **Warehouse Lead** is responsible for the coordination and oversight of daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner, that the warehouse is organized and safe, and that staff members are supervised and trained.
With a competitive **pay rate of $21 per hour plus a quarterly incentive bonus,** this position offers the chance to develop your career while **working Monday through Thursday from 4 PM to 2:30AM. Some overtime can be offered on Fridays and Saturdays during our Spring/Summer busy seasons.**
What You’ll Be Doing
+ Directs warehouse employees in day-to-day operating tasks.
+ Responsible for warehouse staging and scheduling during shift
+ Responsible for off-site warehouse personnel including CDL driver
+ Directs CDL drivers of trailer placement for next day drop shipment trailers
+ Receives transshipment loads in a timely manner based on incoming appointment times
+ Assists in loading and unloading of trailers as needed
+ Required to participate and command the necessary skills to cycle count
+ Participates in monthly and annual inventory counts
+ Assists in making sure production lines and palletizer stay operational during duration of shift
+ Maintains track-able information for daily shuttles by CDL driver
What You’ll Bring
+ High school degree or GED equivalent
+ Ability to work in fast-paced and always changing environment
+ Ability to follow detailed instructions
+ Good communication skills [both verbal and written]
+ Ability to work safely
+ Must be able to work overtime / weekends when needed
+ Must be flexible to work different shifts
+ Must be able to wear steel toed shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection always while on the production floor
+ Must be able to tolerate non-climate-controlled working environment
