    Job Title: AutoCAD Engineering Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in electrical drafting, utilizing AutoCAD and MicroStation to support transmission and distribution projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Create accurate and detailed electrical and utility drafting using AutoCAD and MicroStation.

    + Support transmission and distribution projects through effective drafting and design.

    + Collaborate with project teams to develop construction drawings and documentation.

    + Engage in continuous learning and professional development to understand design decisions.

    + Communicate effectively with team members and ask questions to ensure clarity and understanding.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.

    + Strong drafting skills with a focus on electrical systems.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    + Desire to learn and understand the reasoning behind design decisions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in consulting space is a plus.

    + Industry experience with utilities or electrical systems design is advantageous.

    + Knowledge of MicroStation or Inventor is beneficial but not required.

    + Leadership qualities and extraverted personality are desirable.

    + Computer and technology savvy with problem-solving skills.

    The role is based in a professional engineering office, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
