Job Title: User Experience Design Specialist

Work Model: Hybrid Work Model

Purpose and Objective:

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a User Experience Design Specialist at our Palo Alto, CA location to develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems.

Expectations and Tasks:

Produces specifications describing user requirements and internal structures for product in development. Responsible for collaborating with UX, Product, marketing, and software partners. Takes a defined UX idea, refines it and makes it operational in ‘code’. Delivers on schedule using a variety of languages, libraries, and supporting technologies. Utilizes a broad spectrum of technologies including, but not limited to Javascript, HTML, CSS, React, Framer, p5js, d3js. Uses design tools like Figma, Sketch, adobe creative suite, etc. Utilize rapid prototyping and user-testing best practice.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve one (1) year in the following:

+ HTML, CSS, and Javascript;

+ Python;

+ Sketch;

+ Figma; and

+ AfterEffects.

Experience must also involve the following:

+ React;

+ Framer; and

+ Physical Computing.

**Compensation Range Transparency:** The annual base salary range for this position is $144,262 - $211,992. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $144,262 - $240,900. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
