Join our Sourcing team as a Commodity Buyer – E-commerce, where you’ll play a critical role in managing total cost, supplier relationships, commodity strategy, and supplier performance across the organization. This role covers a wide range of categories including transportation services, supplies, furniture, and partnerships with platforms such as Amazon and Staples. You’ll serve as the subject matter expert, driving sourcing strategies, executing RFPs, negotiating agreements, and monitoring performance models and metrics. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic value to the business.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and execute sourcing strategies through collaboratively developed category business plans
+ Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment on deliverables and performance
+ Drive cost optimization and increase purchased value through data analysis and supplier collaboration
+ Analyze large volumes of data to identify trends and translate insights into actionable strategies
+ Work cross-functionally to achieve cash, cost, delivery, and quality goals
+ Use RFQ tools and systems to manage supplier negotiations and support project execution
+ Introduce supplier-led innovations that enhance cost-effectiveness and product features
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or commodity management, with a focus on cost reduction, supplier selection, and contract implementation
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to achieving results
+ Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic/international) to affiliate sites and suppliers
+ Availability for occasional virtual meetings outside typical working hours
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Graduate of a Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP)
+ Experience with project management, facilitation, and implementation
+ Proven ability to influence and drive change across teams and organizational levels
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across functions to develop and execute strategies
This role is full-time onsite at Appliance Park in Louisville, KY.
