    We are seeking a **_Sr. Research Program Coordinator_** who will support the development and administration of the School of Nursing Neighborhood Care Pathway model for older adults (age 50+) living in Johnston Square, Greenmount West, and Oliver neighborhoods of East Baltimore. Under the direction of program leadership, the Senior Research Program Coordinator (SRPC) will work with be responsible for oversight of day-to-day logistics of the research project including recruitment and community engagement, smooth and effective implementation of research protocols and assessment tools, training and oversight of staff, students and trainees, assisting to ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance through monitoring of the NCP’s study enrollment and data collection systems, and analysis and dissemination of study results.

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities

    + Complete training related to NCP program, principles of community-engaged research, and human subjects research training.

    + Collaborate with leadership team to develop and implement of research protocols including creation of assessment forms, surveys and semi-structured interview guides.

    + Participate in interdisciplinary project management meetings to review project progress, identify challenges/barriers, and collaborate on problem solving.

    + Assist in developing and implementing a strong community engagement strategy and outreach materials including website content to raise community awareness about the project.

    + Assist in developing and disseminating health education and training to the community through community education events (e.g., Lunch and Learn).

    + Assist with convening and management a Community Advisory Board.

    + Monitor recruitment efforts, participant identification and screening, and tracking of completion status of enrolled program participants, and assist field team (as needed).

    + Ensure quality assurance, data accuracy and completeness through routine auditing of NCP’s study enrollment and data collection systems.

    + Perform and summarize key informant interviews, focus groups and other qualitative related research activities.

    + Onboard, train, and supervise research staff, post docs, graduate student(s) and trainees affiliated with the project.

    + Assist the study team to ensure regulatory compliance with the Institutional Review Board policies and procedures.

    + Act as liaison for NCP with community advocates, service providers, and other key partners by attending meetings and other events as needed.

    + Prepare and assist with reports, presentations, and manuscripts on program development, implementation, and performance metrics.

    + Travel to participant homes in Baltimore area and conduct home visits (Baltimore City) as needed, following protocol guidelines.

    + Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

    + Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.

    + Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines.

    + Dependable, self-directed, and motivated.

    + Comfortable working closely with older persons and those from vulnerable communities.

    + Strong computer skills, including typing, and ability quickly learn use of various research software applications.

    + Willingness to work off-site up 25% of the time.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.

    + Three years related experience.

    + Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Graduate degree in public health field.

    + Must have transportation to, from, and around the targeted community.

    + Prior experience working on community-based human subjects research projects.

    + Prior experience working with older adults with multiple conditions and from diverse economic and social backgrounds.

    + Knowledge of survey and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, STATA, MPLUS,) and (e.g., Qualtrics, REDCap, Microsoft Access, or SPSS)

    + Coursework in psychology, research methods and statistics.

    **Starting Salary Range** : $41,300 - $72,300 Annually ($65,000 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)

    Employee group: Full Time

    **Schedule** : Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00

    FLSA Status: Exempt

Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, education, and internal equity.
