Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Web Developer (WD) to design, create, test, and maintain websites that optimize communication and information exchange. In this role, you’ll analyze requirements, determine effective web technologies, and integrate components into coherent site designs. You’ll deliver visually-pleasing, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation, adhering to formal design processes and standards. This position involves collaborating with teams to gather requirements and ensure customer satisfaction through comprehensive web solutions. You’ll also manage configuration and maintain adherence to established guidelines. Proficiency in creating content-rich, customer-centric web designs is highly advantageous.
Requirements:
+ Must have the ability to maintain a fully functional, user-accessible website and ensure consistent usability and availability for all users.
+ Must possess the ability to code less complex websites using programming languages such as HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based technologies, supporting user-friendly website features.
+ Must be capable of writing and maintaining technical documentation for websites to assist with maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting, ensuring clear and comprehensive guidance.
+ Must have the ability to apply concepts to develop, test, maintain, and support high-performance, innovative web-based applications, while integrating new web products with existing web applications to enhance functionality and design.
+ Must possess the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software problems, independently provide solutions using the latest technologies, and manage more complex projects with minimal supervision.
+ Must be capable of collaborating with management and information technologists to determine website specifications and support website planning and deployment.
+ Must have the ability to use various internet technologies, techniques, and tools, including object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, CGI, HTML, XML) and graphics software, to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applications.
+ Must have 8 years of experience as a Web Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
+ Must have a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or 4 additional years of Web Developer experience for a total of 12 years without a degree.
+ Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
Salary Range: A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
