JOB SUMMARY
The ERP Systems Administrator plays a critical role in managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, encompassing security administration and both technical and functional responsibilities.
In this position, the individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. They will design, develop, and implement solutions within the ERP software environment while ensuring accuracy through technical design documentation and unit testing. Additionally, this role involves providing customer support, troubleshooting and resolving both functional and technical issues, and fostering strong relationships to enhance user experience and system efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provides security administration, functional support, and development assistance for ITC’s ERP applications, primarily focusing on PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain modules, Canon Imaging Solution, and other integrated ERP systems.
+ Gathers and documents technical and functional information to facilitate customer requests for PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain modules, Canon Imaging Solution and other related ERP applications
+ Creates and maintains configuration workbooks, design documents, and knowledge materials.
+ Conducts fit-gap analysis and recommends solutions for product enhancements and issue resolution.
+ Supports systems through regression testing, patch testing, and user acceptance testing.
+ Oversees security setup, system configuration, and data structure administration for PeopleSoft, Canon and other related ERP applications.
+ Develops and configures workflows and corresponding groups based on business requirements.
+ Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues, plan application support, and resolve complex problems related to Canon, PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain and other related ERP applications.
+ Adheres to company policies, industry standards, and best practices while supporting the ITC environment.
+ Follows software development lifecycles using approved methodologies for project management.
+ Maintains the integrity of ERP systems data as per Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls, documents them and creates reports for internal and external auditors.
+ Maintains and updates system support documentation, procedures, and user knowledge materials.
+ Participates in 24/7 support for ERP systems.
REQUIREMENTS
Associate II Level
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems, with at least one (1) year of professional application administration experience, including experience in targeted high availability environments, as identified in job posting supplement, or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
Intermediate Level
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or Computer Information Systems with a minimum of three (3) years of professional application administration experience, including experience in targeted high availability environments, as identified in job posting supplement, or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
For Both Levels
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to troubleshoot technical challenges effectively.
+ Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Collaborative mindset with a positive attitude toward teamwork and cross-functional engagement.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, including flexibility for extended work hours when necessary.
+ Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls for auditing tasks.
+ Familiarity with ticketing systems for change management purposes.
+ Hands-on experience with ERP systems or previous system/server administration responsibilities as outlined in the role’s duties.
+ Strong understanding of windows servers environment.
+ Working knowledge of relational databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS SQL.
+ Proficiency in SQL for scripting, data handling, and process automation.
+ Strong multitasking ability, adept at prioritizing workload based on business needs.
+ Self-starter with the capability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
