    We are currently looking for a Commercial Services and Marketing Representative for our Houston, TX office.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the company’s plan oriented towards attaching new supply from natural gas producers or other natural gas pipelines, and new end-use customers. You will also be expected to develop customer relationships to support the sale of existing transportation capacity.

    Additional responsibilities include:

    + Negotiate and prepare both large scale pipeline and smaller scale producer and/or end-user interconnect agreements.

    + Work within the Commercial Services and Marketing team environment to manage and develop customer relationships within the producer and end-use customer segments.

    + Identify and market, in collaboration with the broader marketing team, existing and available transportation capacity.

    + Plan, coordinate and make sales presentations to educate, inform and execute new business opportunities.

    + Assist in the preparation and presentation of marketing recommendations for marketing management approval.

    + Work collaboratively with Customer Service and other Commercial groups, keeping them apprised of customer needs and any deviations to support corporate goals.

    + Manage and negotiate customer settlements and problem resolution.

    + Learn, develop and implement new ways for company to differentiate itself in the marketplace.

    + Prepare necessary reports (RFP's, Metrics, Periodic Business Reviews) and maintain them in the company database.

    + Maintain complete customer files and maintain appropria t e customer and prospec t i nformation into the company contact management database .

    + Assist in the management and negotiation for the sale of underutilized pipeline assets.

    REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Strong knowledge of finance/marketing/engineering with at least 3 years’ experience in similar or related roles

    + Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

    + Ability to work well with peers and customers

    + Strong organizational and analytical skills

    PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Working knowledge of North American supply basins, exploration and production operations, pipeline industry, project economics, pipeline design, project finance, market analysis, financial analysis, and strategic planning

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related discipline

    PREFERRED EDUCATION:

    + MBA in Finance
