Assistant Dining Manager – AL, Andalusia – The Assistant Dining Unit Manager supports the Dining Unit Manager/Chef in implementing and upholding culinary standards while helping oversee day-to-day kitchen operations. This role assists in the development, planning, and execution of the culinary program at the assigned dining location. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in driving improvements in cost control, food quality, presentation, and menu innovation. They help ensure adherence to Culinary Excellence Standards and must be able to communicate effectively with managers, kitchen staff, dining personnel, and clients.

Duties:

+ placing orders,

+ setting staff schedule

+ administering disciplinary action if necessary,

+ daily/weekly/monthly reporting- including inventory,

+ setting coherent menu to coincide with inventory usage,

+ Microsoft Office Suite skills preferred (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

General Requirements:

+ Must be able to lift 35lbs+; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis.
