    At a Glance

     

    Legrand has an exciting opportunity for anIT Systems Analyst/Developerto join theLighting Sector Kenall Team.This is ahybrid position reporting toKenosha, WI. This role is a key member of the IT team working with other IT team members to deliver key business capabilities. The successful candidate will have ERP experience (preferably Epicor) in a manufacturing environment and the willingness to learn and understand other key enterprise technologies. The role works closely with the process owners in the business to ensure that requirements are well defined and that solutions meet those requirements as well as providing subject matter expertise on the related business processes and data structures within the ERP and associated complementary applications. The IT system analyst role reports into the LLM Information Technology department of the Lighting Sector and is located at the LLM/Kenall office in Kenosha, WI.

     

    What Will You Do?

     

    + Engage business leaders, providing consultation, gathering their requirements (project or support related) and translating them into functional technical specifications.

    + Review cross-functional business processes, identify gaps and propose remediation within existing application ecosystem.

    + Facilitate development of solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, technological options, and process facilitation techniques.

    + Advise on options, risks, resource requirements, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.

    + Assist in training new users on the functionality of Epicor and other key technologies.

    + Provides first level support for Epicor support requests, etc.

    + Assist in documenting systems and their interdependencies: evolving and maintaining design documents to reflect changes introduced by new implementations.

    + Diagnose problems in response to customer reported incidents.

    + Planning and delivery of customer support services including consultation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training for office and shop floor employees.

    + Partner with the LNCA IT Infrastructure team to drive infrastructure and operations service excellence in a matrixed global environment.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills

    Education

    + Education : Bachelor of Science in information technology, computer science, or related field.

    Experience:

    + 5+ years of IT experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Experience in the process design, configuration, support and troubleshooting of functional areas of ERP applications.

    + Experience with enterprise system integration a plus.

    + Demonstrated track record of successful delivery of enterprise IT solutions.

    + Experience in supporting enterprise technology solutions including infrastructure and operations, cyber security, and advanced analytics as plus.

    + Experience with Epicor Kinetic a plus.

    Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    + Strong technical experience with programming languages.

    + Experience with Epicor ERP preferred (version 10.2.700 and later).

    + Strong experience in cross-functional process review/analysis and re-engineering.

    + Experience in software development lifecycles, software deployment, and implementation processes.

    + Solid technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully work with multiple stakeholders.

    + General knowledge and experience IT infrastructure, desktop operating systems, and architecture. ​

    Special Job Requirements:

    + Very limited travel may be required.

    + On-site presence in Kenosha, WI is essential.
