    Summary:

At Meta Reality Labs, we are developing the future of Wearables and Mixed Reality products and this team focuses on developing display and optics technologies for Meta products. Their mission is to create see-through display systems that seamlessly blend the real and virtual realms. This involves designing the architecture and all display sub-systems for AR glasses based on leading technologies developed by Meta’s teams. We work on creating advanced display technologies that are essential for AR and VR systems while having sub-teams who connect bits, electrons, photons, and experience for display products across wearables and the metaverse while focusing on display silicon architecture, applied perception studies, image quality, and defining the roadmap and long-term platform development strategy. Within XDO we also aim to develop and implement test, characterization, metrology, and data solutions to support the creation of transparent display systems. We are seeking an Optical Test and Validation Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and conducting prototype or product performance studies for AR or Smart Glasses with or without a display module. You will work on building and establishing connections between metrology data and user perceptions to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sensitivity limits.
