Herkimer County Community College Housing Corporation, a not-for-profit that provides housing facilities to Herkimer College students, is looking for an experience Maintenance Mechanic.

This position requires basic and semi-advanced skills in one or more of the following skilled grades: Carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical. A good working knowledge in all of the trades mentioned is desired with a concentration in one of those skills preferred, and a working knowledge of the others as well.

Additional duties include (but not limited to), snow removal, mowing, trimming, painting, operation of miscellaneous grounds keeping equipment, light housekeeping duties and all other duties as assigned. This is a preventive and corrective maintenance position and not one of new construction.

Job Requirements:

Physical ability to do medium to heavy labor, both inside and outdoors and a clean NYS Driver's license are required.

Additional Information:

The hourly rate for this full-time position is $20.24 and the shift is 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
