    Job Description

    The Quality Assurance Analyst will be accountable for:

    1) Functional testing of business requirements.

     

    2) Documenting and tracking software development defects and enhancements.

     

    3) Regulatory and compliance advisory services.

     

    4) Liaison for external and internal examination/audits; and

     

    5) Member complaints, regulatory reporting and dashboards.

     

    They will be required to work closely with business stakeholders and other members of the team to test

     

    user stories and business requirements, document software functional successes and failures, and

     

    ensure SHL policies and procedures are compliant to external and internal regulations.

     

    Experience with Salesforce is preferred, along with some knowledge ds

     

    Compliance Advisory -

     

    Monitor and ensure the SHL Division business processes adhere to Credit Humans

     

    social vision and values

     

    Create and disseminate written monitoring plans up to 9 months for critical tasks and

     

    projects to achieve unit goals

     

    Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of regulatory initiatives so to provide advisory

     

    services and track regulatory changes

     

    Inform the Systems & Process Support Manager and SHL leadership of current federal,

     

    state, or county regulations and upcoming regulatory changes that impact the SHL

     

    division lending practices, proposing changes to products, services, or procedures

     

    within the SHL Division

     

    Recommend policy and procedural additions, revisions, and corrective action plans

     

    Conduct research and interpret regulations and ensure timely follow-up and completion

     

    of research

     

    Collaborate with SHL management and staff to ensure internal and regulatory

     

    compliance

     

    Serve as the liaison, coordinator, and primary Point of Contact for the SHL Division and

     

    MOS Compliance, Internal Audit, and other Credit Human Auditing division, for

     

    regulatory examinations, internal/external audits, compliance assessments, and SHL

     

    member complaints (NCUA, BBB, Board, CEO, Internal

     

    Quality Assurance & Testing -

     

    Create and implement system and software testing processes along the various

     

    software deployment environments

     

    Create software functional test scripts which accurately test the development of tasks

     

    and user stories

     

    Conduct functional testing against business requirements, end-to-end regression

     

    testing during deployments, and smoke testing within the various software deployment

     

    environments

     

    Document and update test scripts with results from testing, detailing any defects or

     

    deviations from business requirements

     

    Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions within SHL and document the

     

    UAT findings

     

    Create tickets which document the defects found during test and communicate findings

     

    to the Systems & Process Support Manager and development team

     

    Categorize the discovered defects by criticality and severity to ensure the development

     

    team triages high defects

     

    Collaborate with the Systems & Process Support team develop test plans and new

     

    approaches for seeking out bugs and exploits in end-user-facing applications

     

    Implement automated testing, when applicable, and assist in determining the root

     

    cause of the defects, offering solutions to correct the defect

     

    Provide defect monitoring and reporting around defect nature, environments, root

     

    causes, and software development shortcomings

     

    Advise best practices and optimizations throughout testing and defect resolution

    Skills and Requirements

     

    2-3 years of experience in functional software testing & writing test scripts and use cases

     

    2-3 years of compliance/regulations experience associated with lending and support service

     

    operations and servicing

     

    Experience developing and implementing business plans and collaborating with business

     

    partners to align processes and work with the strategic plan

     

    Experience establishing goals and metrics and monitoring performance to those goals

     

    Experience in enforcing departmental policy and regulatory compliance (state, national, and

    NCUA)

    Bachelors degree in business, Business Administration, Finance, or related field of study OR

     

    equivalent relevant work experience and knowledge NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) OR equivalent certification

    Salesforce Business Analyst Certification null
