Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Senior Analog Mixed-Signal IC Layout Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Analog Mixed-Signal IC Layout Engineer, you will be part of the Advanced Silicon Development supporting the Microsoft Silicon Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Senior Analog Mixed-Signal IC Layout Engineer

Remote or Raleigh, NC

18 Month Contract

What's the Job?

+ Execute full-custom IC layout for analog and mixed-signal blocks including SERDES, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, and more.

+ Collaborate closely with circuit designers to optimize layout for performance, power, and area.

+ Conduct layout floorplanning, block-level routing, and macro-level assembly.

+ Perform physical verification using industry-standard tools like Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre.

+ Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in layout design.

What's Needed?

+ 4+ years of experience in custom/digital IP layout for analog mixed-signal circuits.

+ Proven track record of successful tapeouts in advanced FinFET CMOS nodes (2nm–5nm).

+ Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre layout and verification tools.

+ Strong understanding of analog layout techniques including matching and shielding.

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
