    Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer 5 to join their team. As a Hardware Design Engineer 5, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the development of next-generation AI hardware. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

    **Location:** Austin, TX and Mountain View, CA

     

    Duration: 18 Month Contract

    Pay Range:

    What's the Job?

     

    + Design and implement RTL for image and video processing IP blocks.

    + Collaborate with architecture and verification teams to define specifications and test plans.

    + Perform front-end synthesis and analyze timing results.

    + Conduct CDC (Clock Domain Crossing) and lint checks to ensure design quality.

    + Debug and resolve issues in RTL and simulation environments.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).

    + 10+ years of experience in digital hardware design, with at least 8 years in complex RTL design using SystemVerilog.

    + Experience in design verification and debugging, including RTL quality checks (CDC, lint).

    + Strong understanding of floating-point arithmetic in RTL.

    + Hands-on experience with industry-standard simulation and analysis tools.
