    Belcan is expanding our network of experienced 1099 consultants to support clients in the automotive and industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a Teamcenter Developer with deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter PLM development and customization. This role will support engineering digital transformation initiatives by improving how product data is managed, integrated, and accessed across enterprise systems.

     

    Consultants must be able to work independently, deliver scalable solutions, and quickly adapt to client environments. This is a project-based contract with competitive compensation and on-site collaboration in Novi, MI (3 days/week onsite preferred).

     

    Focus Area: PLM / Teamcenter Development

    Role: Teamcenter Developer / Teamcenter Technical Consultant

    * Customize and extend Siemens Teamcenter PLM platform for automotive product development programs

    * Integrate Teamcenter with enterprise systems including ERP and CAD tools

    * Configure Active Workspace, workflows, and user interfaces for streamlined use across departments

    * Perform server-side customizations using APIs, ITK, and BMIDE

    * Support business functions such as Document Management, BOM Management, Configuration Management, and Change Management

    * Contribute to the evolution of the Teamcenter data model and PLM architecture

    * Test and deploy system enhancements to ensure seamless functionality and performance

    Qualifications:

    * 10+ years of experience in Teamcenter development, including server-side and Active Workspace customization

    * Strong knowledge of Teamcenter Data Model and core PLM processes

    * Proven success in integrating PLM with enterprise applications and engineering toolsets

    * Automotive industry experience preferred

    * Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with engineers, IT teams, and business stakeholders

    * Local to Novi, MI, with availability for 3 days/week onsite (preferred). For non local candidates paid travel may be considered

    * Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently in a dynamic environment
