Bluegrass Orthopaedics is hiring a full-time Scheduler for our Communications department in Lexington, Ky. As a Scheduler for Bluegrass Orthopaedics, you will be responsible for performing switchboard operating and patient medical services scheduling as required by the position. Coordinates suitable time to perform the specified patient care procedure with the appropriate patient care provider. Provides clinical staff sufficient information about the patient appointment so they can be properly prepared to provide the service. Obtains the appropriate demographic information about the patient for the business office to begin the insurance verification process. Demonstration of the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economical backgrounds to organize, set priorities, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment must be exhibited. Bluegrass Orthopaedics has been serving Central and Southeastern Kentucky for over 25 years. We offer a variety of services for all areas of sports medicine, total joint care, industrial medicine and foot, ankle and hand care. We pride ourselves in treating athletes of all ages - from the youth sports athlete, to the weekend warrior, the industrial athlete, to the senior athlete Job Requirements: Education requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: 1 year of healthcare experience preferred. This position will require in office training. Once training is complete this will be a work from home position.
