• Assistant Controller

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Attleboro, MA)


    Description • Close monthly general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, and income statements

     

    • Analyze month-end financial statements, including the preparation of standard schedules used in analyzing the monthly financial activity

    • Prepare and explain monthly financial information for plant management

    • Troubleshoot and assist in updating inventory standards

    • Assist in annual budgeting process

    • Assist in monthly forecasting

    • Prepare a portion of the recurring monthly general ledger journal entries

    • Supervise compilation of month-end inventory and investigate material cycle counts

    • Review drill downs of general ledger accounts and account reconciliations

    • Backup for preparation of month-end inventory materials

    • Assist in coordination of audits by outside accountants

    • Maintain a system of internal accounting control that complies with corporate directives concerning Sarbanes-Oxley.
