    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Brooklyn, NY)


    Description

    Join a fast-moving, multi-brand company where you’ll own the full accounting function and help drive growth across eCommerce, retail, dropship, and manufacturing operations.

     

    We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Controller who’s excited to dive into the details, partner cross-functionally, and build scalable processes that support a growing business. This is a great opportunity to take true ownership of accounting operations while working closely with leadership to help shape financial strategy.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Lead full-cycle accounting operations across multiple business models — inventory, retail, and manufacturing.

    • Own monthly close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity.

    • Consolidate financial data across multiple entities and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    • Manage daily cash controls, forecasting, and treasury activities.

    • Lead audit preparation and manage external auditor relationships.

    • Partner closely with FP& A and department leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

    • Develop and strengthen internal controls and scalable processes across AR, AP, payroll, and inventory.

    • Serve as the NetSuite administrator — ensuring system integrity, process improvements, and automation.

    • Provide detailed reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insights that directly support business decisions.

    Requirements

    • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience

    • CPA strongly preferred

    • Strong background in eCommerce, retail, or manufacturing environments

    • NetSuite (or similar ERP) expertise with a passion for systems optimization

    • Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and audit prep

    • Strong communicator who enjoys partnering with leadership teams

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
