    Project Manager (IT)

     

    Job Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension)

     

    Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intermediate IT Project Manager to support governance functions within an enterprise architecture team. This role involves managing daily project operations, facilitating cross-functional communication, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for process improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead and coordinate daily project and operational activities to ensure timely milestone delivery and issue resolution.

    + Manage documentation, reporting, and task tracking using tools such as Confluence, MS Teams, and JIRA.

    + Utilize dashboards and BI tools (e.g., Tableau) to support data-driven decision-making.

    + Facilitate effective communication across business, technical, and leadership teams.

    + Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.

    + Support multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing priorities and adapting to shifting timelines.

    + Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency efforts.

    + Collaborate with architects and technical leads to align project execution with system design and enterprise architecture principles.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + Minimum 6 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT and operational tasks.

    + Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficiency with Confluence, MS Teams, and task management tools.

    + Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.

    + High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

    •Preferred Qualifications:

    + Background in architecture or experience working with architecture teams.

    + Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new tasks.

    + Experience creating reports for senior management.

    Interview Process:

    + 1–2 rounds of interviews, conducted via video call.

    + An in-person interview may be required.

    + No formal test is expected, but candidates should be prepared to discuss relevant experience and demonstrate communication and documentation skills.

    Additional Information:

    + Contract Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension.

    + Training: On-the-job training provided.

    + Day-to-Day Activities:

    + Collaborate with Product Owners to define and capture requirements.

    + Participate in team meetings and document outcomes.

    + Work closely with the architecture team on multiple initiatives.
