    Application Vulnerability Analyst

    Job Description:

    Experience: 7 + years

    Key Skills:

    • Strong understanding of secure development life cycle, application security frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

    • Experience in vulnerability management and remediation within a DevSecOps environment.

    • Proficiency in analyzing and resolving vulnerabilities identified by SAST, IAST, SCA and Secrets Management and address concerns/support tickets.

    • Ability to understand and review security vulnerabilities in application code written in Java, Node.js, and Python.

    • Perform code review across a variety of programming languages and ability to understand security issues, interact and explain security risks to development teams.

    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating security tools into the development lifecycle. familiar with github, Jenkins and Container environment technologies like Docker.

    • Deep knowledge of application security principles and secure coding practices.

    • Strong grasp of core security mechanisms, OWASP, cryptographic libraries, and server-side security.

    • Proficiency in any programming or scripting language is an added advantage.

    Mandatory Skills with Expert knowledge expected :-

    + Application vulnerabilityAnalyst with expertise in Application security services like DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA andvulnerability Remediation.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    Applications will be accepted until 7/24/2025

     

    The annual salary for this position is between 99,000- 116,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
