    Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Behavior Specialist to provide clinical and case management to behavior technicians and clients/families under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

    Responsibilities:

    + Develops goals, programs, materials, and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA

    + Oversees the work of Behavior Technicians as assigned by Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) or Operations Leader

    + Conducts face-to-face case and Behavior Technician supervision for assigned caseload

    + Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in behavioral and skill acquisition assessments

    + Trains Behavior Technicians in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior

    + intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.

    + Trains families, caregivers, and school staff in implementation of behavior change plans including

    + behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.

    + Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in updating behavior change plans including current progress on

    + behavior goals and skill acquisition goals

    + Monitors progress and treatment effectiveness of behavioral programs under the supervision of the

    + Clinical Supervisor (BCBA)

    + Conducts clinical interviews and participates in hiring decisions in collaboration with Clinical

    + Manager-Behavioral or other office clinical leader

    + Facilitates the orientation process, competency and skills validation process for behavioral direct care

    + staff

    + May conduct skill enhancement training for behavioral caregivers

    + Provides behavioral services to children with autism or other behavioral disorders as outlined in the

    + behavioral change plan

    + Participates in office and clinical quality initiative activities

    + Accountable to all federal, state, local contracts and programs, and Maxim requirements

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    Must meet at least one of the following educational requirements:

    + A master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or similar degree when allowed by state or program.

    + Bachelor’s degree and BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst)

    + Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst, when applicable by state

    + At least one year of experience providing behavioral services to children with autism or other related disorders

    + At least one year of experience in providing behavior analytic services in home, school, or community settings

    + At least be enrolled in approved BACB courses and preparing for BCBA exam

    + Ability to effectively communicate with appropriate individuals (including, but no limited to co-workers, supervisors, clients)

    + Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) required

    + Current CPR/BLS certification

    + At least 18 years of age

    + Excellent communication skills

    + Proficiency in the English language required
