What You'll Do

About this role:

We are seeking a versatile staff accountant with experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll and reconciling general ledgers.

Responsibilities

+ Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

+ Data Entry: Strong attention to detail in entering accounts payable invoices.

+ Payroll: Attention to accuracy in processing payroll- construction industry knowledge a plus.

+ Collaboration: Collaborating with project managers, stakeholders, and other team members.

+ Audits: Assisting with financial audits related to construction projects.

Essential Skills

+ Accounting Principles: Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

+ Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights.

+ Communication Skills: Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial team members.

+ Computer Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

+ Professionalism: Must demonstrate courteous service and ethical behavior.

+ Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
