Under the general supervision of the Construction Superintendent, the Construction Technician will assist with project execution by performing a variety of hands-on tasks at job sites. This role involves general labor and construction support, with an emphasis on carpentry.

The ideal candidate will have basic carpentry experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must also be willing to travel throughout the state of Kentucky and stay overnight as needed.

POSITION DETAILS :

+ Job Type : Full-Time

+ Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5 :30 PM ( Monday-Thursday )

+ Compensation : $ 15.00-20 .00 per hour based on experience

+ Additional benefits: Per diem allowance, mileage reimbursement, and a $100 monthly cell phone stipend

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

+ Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, and other tools as directed by management.

+ Clean and prepare the job site as needed to assist in the progression of the job.

+ Perform general labor duties which may include but not limited to framing, hanging drywall, painting, hanging doors and windows, cabinetry

+ Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job on a daily basis.

+ Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.

+ Load and unload construction supplies as needed.

+ Assist other construction staff as needed.

+ Other duties as assigned by the Construction Superintendent.

QUALIFICATIONS :

+ Previous construction experience.

+ Ability to perform physical labor and adapt to varying weather conditions.

+ Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

+ Punctual, reliable, and dependable.

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

+ Willingness to travel long distances as needed.

+ Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings, including drug testing and background checks.
