    Job Title: CMM Programmer

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Inspection Technician / CMM Programmer responsible for the inspection of all in-house manufactured parts and purchased components. The ideal candidate will ensure parts meet tolerance, workmanship, and appearance specifications while supporting company quality standards through inspection methods.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect all machined and purchased components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.

    + Evaluate parts for tolerances, workmanship, and visual quality to meet internal requirements.

    + Identify and communicate non-conforming parts promptly and accurately.

    + Program and operate Zeiss CMMs for dimensional inspections.

    + Maintain accurate inspection records and support the documentation of non-conformances.

    + Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

    + Support continuous improvement and corrective action efforts as required.

    Essential Skills

    + 6+ years experience as a CMM Programmer / operator.

    + 3+ years of programming from scratch on Zeiss / Calypso.

    + Exceptional attention to detail with checking parts and running the CMM machine.

    + Proficiency with mics, calipers, and gauges.

    + Excellent blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T symbols.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data utilization.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

    + Background in supporting continuous improvement and corrective action efforts with the team.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility is clean and climate-controlled, built in 2021. We operate in various departments and areas, ensuring a dynamic and active work environment. The position is for the 1st shift, from 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Wixom, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
