Job Title: General Labor / Maritime Insulator

Job Description

Workers will be supporting operations at the shipyard on multiple contracts. Most work will consist of general labor duties, carrying material to/from the site, cleanup of the work area, and assisting lead carpentry personnel to remove and install insulation on ships.

Responsibilities

+ Support operations at the shipyard on multiple contracts

+ Carry materials to and from the work site

+ Clean up the work area

+ Assist lead carpentry personnel in removing and installing insulation on ships

Essential Skills

+ Experience with insulation and carpentry

+ Mechanical Experience

+ Ability to perform general labor duties

Work Environment

The job involves working at a shipyard on ships, which is very hard work and exposes you to the elements. You must be willing and able to commit to full-time work, daily, with some opportunities for overtime. Contractors can start pending DBIDS; while waiting, they will assist with warehouse and general labor in the shop.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
