Job Title: Tooling Manager
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Tooling Manager, where you will be integral to maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools within our plant. You will work closely with the production team and Plant Manager, ensuring the seamless operation of our facility. Your role includes pre-setting jobs for technicians, kitting tools for work orders, and managing assets and tools using ERP programs for certification compliance.
Responsibilities
+ Check in and check out tooling efficiently.
+ Maintain, calibrate, and repair equipment, logging activities in the ERP system.
+ Conduct maintenance and repair of hand tools, recorded in the ERP system.
+ Ensure the upkeep and repair of the plant infrastructure.
+ Create maintenance and calibration schedules for equipment and tooling.
+ Develop a comprehensive maintenance program for the plant.
+ Manage tooling assets effectively.
+ Order necessary tooling and equipment.
+ Set up applicators and machines, documenting results for production and panel.
+ Organize and maintain the tooling, asset, and fixture area.
+ Establish and maintain safety procedures throughout the plant, including forklift certifications and OSHA compliance.
+ Build jigs and test fixtures as required.
+ Collaborate with purchasing to ensure all safety equipment is stocked.
+ Work with sales and engineering on tooling, jigs, and test fixtures during quoting processes.
+ Identify new tooling suppliers for current and upcoming jobs.
+ Collaborate with the production manager to create tooling that enhances quality and efficiency.
+ Identify and order critical spare parts for equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in pneumatics.
+ Proficiency in tool repair.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience in tooling and maintenance repair.
+ Skills in preventative and corrective maintenance.
+ Familiarity with a manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with wiring.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Work Environment
Work in a stimulating manufacturing environment, operating from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Utilize the latest technologies and equipment to ensure efficient operations. Dress code adheres to safety standards, including necessary protective gear as per OSHA guidelines.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
