    Job Title: Weekend Press Operator $21 - $25/HR

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Weekend Press Operator, where you will play a crucial role in operating a metal stamping press to produce specific products. You will be responsible for interpreting information from work orders and blueprints, setting up jobs, and ensuring the accurate loading and packing of parts under the guidance of a supervisor.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and set up metal stamping press for specific jobs.

    + Interpret information from work orders and blueprints to manufacture products.

    + Load and pack parts efficiently under supervisor guidance.

    + Ensure accurate setup for each job and maintain quality standards.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of experience operating a Stamping Press or CNC Machines.

    + Experience reading blueprints and interpreting technical information.

    + Proficiency in reading tape measures and performing basic mathematical calculations.

    + Knowledge of punch press operations, sheet metal fabrication, and the use of calipers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience operating a high-speed punch press is a plus.

    + Familiarity with sheet metal work.

    + Ability to use micrometers, height gauges, and calipers.

    + Desire and capability to run high-volume, fast-paced jobs.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes multiple shift options: 1st Shift from 6am-4:30pm (Monday to Thursday), with possible work on Friday and Saturday; 2nd Shift from 4pm-2:30am (Monday to Thursday), with potential work on Friday and Saturday; and Weekend Shift from 6am-10am Thursday, and 6am-6:30pm Friday to Sunday. The facility promotes a clean and organized workspace.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.50/hr.
