The Glenwood Community School District is currently accepting applications for a Human Resources and Benefit Services Administrative Assistant at the Central Office. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with benefits. The starting wage effective July 1, 2025 is $19.47 per hour.

DESCRIPTION
Position: Human Resources/Benefit Services Administrative Assistant
Education and Experience Requirements:
? High School Diploma and/or work equivalent Required; AA/BS/BA degree preferred
? Administrative support experience preferred
? Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, etc) and Google Suite (need high level of technology skills)
? HR and/or insurance experience preferred

Reports To: Superintendent; School Improvement Director
Consults With: all employees and former staff.
Position Goal: To assist district stakeholders in creating, maintaining, and innovating consistent practices within human resources and business services. To complete all assignments as efficiently and effectively as possible for the persons requesting such assignments. To maintain a positive attitude and keep in mind the importance of caring about and educating the young people of our community.
Performance Responsibilities:
? Prepare documents, correspondence, reports, surveys, graphs, copies and various other
duties required by the superintendent, other administrators, and personnel.
? Post all vacancies and advertise positions.
? Support human resources by screening and/or testing applicants.
? Sets up and schedules and/or meetings for interviewees, hiring managers, employees, and
administrators.
? Onboard all new employees (including pre-employment forms, background checks, etc.
+ Maintain all changes in status and offboarding procedures
+ Coordinate yearly required trainings for all staff
+ Coordinate completion of background checks and driving record checks for all staff
+ Update spreadsheets with appropriate information for each department
+ Frontline - Applicant tracking and Absence Management
+ In charge of all Personnel files & inputting files for the record
+ Updating software unlimited with personnel information
+ In charge of all aspects of MyBenefits Channel (onboarding workflows, ongoing workflows, updating any workflows/ tasks, personnel records etc.)
+ TMS accounts
+ Insurance & Benefits - enrollment, terminations, open enrollment, etc. All aspects
+ Updating job descriptions
+ Assist personnel with anything they need
? Assist and organize an employee recruitment plan and schedule.
? Assist in consistency in brand management.
? Including digital and print as well as maintaining a social media presence.
? Audit and maintain an accurate website presence for postings and district information.
? Assist in retention strategies such as surveys and exit interviews.
? Draft and then prepare for completion with support:
? Assist in collaboration of the district newsletter
? Annual Community Report
? Quarterly Report
? Responsible for assisting with the following reports/manuals:
? Maintaining and scheduling applicant screening and interviews
? Maintain and coordinate all licensure and certification information for employees.
? Performs other duties as assigned.

Terms of Employment: Twelve-month position. Salary schedules shall be subject to annual review and modification by the Glenwood Board of Education.
