Description of Work Unit
The Division of Information Technology, the central IT organization for the Colorado State University System, supports the land-grant heritage of the institution as well as the university’s missions of teaching and learning, research, and service. The Division of IT is responsible for delivering enterprise and campus focused IT services for the Fort Collins, Pueblo and Spur campuses as well as throughout the CSU -System.
Areas of responsibility include Application Development and User Support Services, Academic Technology, Cybersecurity & Privacy, Networking and Telecommunications, Infrastructure and Databases, Business Intelligence and Data Integrations, Administrative Applications, and Student Applications.

Position Summary
This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Experience and Collaboration within the Colorado State University Division of Information Technology. The Enterprise Software Service Lead is responsible for overseeing the CSU enterprise software licensing program for both CSU Fort Collins and CSU Pueblo, as well as supervising the team members supporting this function. This team includes specialists in software licensing procurement, software licensing support, and software accessibility.
The Division of IT’s Enterprise Software Administration Service manages end-user enterprise software licensing for employees and students at CSU Fort Collins and CSU Pueblo. These licenses support applications used across multiple colleges, divisions, or CSU Pueblo departments. The service encompasses license procurement and vendor management, software license lifecycle management, centralized license administration, user access management, automated licensing and deprovisioning, and support for accessibility and inclusive educational technology needs campus-wide.
This position also serves as the Division of Information Technology’s primary software liaison to campus communities, ensuring that enterprise software licensing needs are effectively met.
Required Job Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or information technology or any bachelor’s degree and three years of applicable experience.
+ Candidates with a high school diploma (or GED ) and equivalent (7+ years) professional experience will be considered for employment (without the required bachelor’s education).
+ 3 years of professional experience in related technology support, procurement or software licensing role to include experience in strategic technology sourcing and experience with enterprise software licensing administration.
+ Demonstrated experience working with product life-cycle management, pricing models, and cost-recovery management.
+ Experience developing, implementing, and using processes, metrics or key performance indicators that ensure high-quality services and user satisfaction.
+ Demonstrated experience with interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to work across the organization, lead cross-functional teams
Preferred Job Qualifications
+ Experience establishing policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices related to enterprise software licensing.
+ Knowledge of Information and Computer Technology accessibility standards.
+ Experience with IT Service Management and the ITIL Framework.
+ Ability to work independently and make decisions within a defined protocol.
+ Experience supervising staff.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
Essential Duties

Duty/Responsibility
+ Leverage ITSM principles and ITIL framework in determining and leading implementation of appropriate processes and procedures to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of an enterprise software service.
+ Coordinate with DoIT IT Service Management ( ITSM ) Process Manager on ITSM related process development and implementation as needed.
+ Collaborate with DoIT staff to ensure consistent service and customer response through electronic communications, phone, and face to face interactions.
+ Lead team meetings, status report meetings, and all other meetings concerning the enterprise software service.
+ Participate in user group community meetings as necessary.
+ Support and propose standards and procedures to contribute to the effectiveness of software administration services.
+ Lead intake evaluation of requests for supporting new software titles in the DoIT Software Administration Service
+ Lead annual evaluation of existing software titles currently in the DoIT Software Administration Service portfolio for continuing as part of the portfolio prior to their respective renewal period.
+ Coordinate with CSU Procurement, Office of General Counsel, and the CSU IT Accessibility Center to in support of campus compliance with Information and Computer Technology accessibility standards.
+ Ensure enterprise software service knowledge base is maintained for internal and external documentation.

+ Lead the effort to procurement enterprise licensing for new software titles added to the DoIT Software Administration Service portfolio.
+ Lead renewal of software titles that are a part of the DoIT Software Administration Service portfolio.
+ Track license and contract renewal dates and other key information for proactively renewing licensing agreements as needed.
+ Coordinate with CSU Procurement Services and Division of Information Technology Finance Team on enterprise software licensing procurement, e.g. requesting quotes from vendor(s) and submitting requisition requests Kuali Financial System.
+ Coordinate and with DoIT Finance Team and assist with service billing of software managed through DoIT Software Administration service.
