Job Details The Environment Lead is responsible for design and coordination of the various application environment utilized for the Clinical Information Systems. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates in project appropriate aspects of information systems lifecycles (business requirements definition, selection/planning, build, test, train, implement, production support). Works with technical supervisor to coordinate an environment strategy including data migration methods and schedules. Specialized responsibility for coordination of multiple application environments pertinent to supported platforms. Coordinate with system architects to upload content to environments. Operates as a liaison between technical personnel and the appropriate project manager surrounding environment management. Ensures synchronization of environments such as production, testing, QA. Monitors release management of change from environment to environment, including version control. Develop and publish the data migration timelines with the project managers. Create programmer and administrative access to CIS environments. Create additional environments for testing and/or training as needed. Configure environments using vendor configuration utilities. Backup, restore, and refresh vendor environments. Create logins for captive text and GUI user access. Modify menus to allow text access to multiple CIS environments and Cache instances. Establish a baseline for performance and monitor it regularly. Interacts with members of performance testing and monitoring teams across the project. Demonstrates a commitment to customer service by providing responsive and effective support, developing solid working relationships, and delivering high quality, value-added services that exceed customer expectations. POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science. Vendor certified or must attend and complete Vendor certification – requires week long out of state travel for each course required for certification (minimum two courses) Experience: Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. A predisposition to collaborate with others in the attainment of common goals and objectives. Effective human relations and personnel management skills. Capability to work independently, with ability to multi-task. Minimum five (5) years experience. Demonstrated successful implementation/knowledge of the following technologies: Salary Range USD $125,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
